About Freguesa
Freguesa was born in a moment of inspiration right in my dining room. I was sorting through a collection of 20 oversized puffy heart charms I had bought to make myself a necklace when my kids noticed what I was doing. “You should sell them on Instagram, Mom." That little spark of encouragement was all it took. I decided to try, and what started as a simple idea quickly grew into something much bigger.
The name “Freguesa” is deeply personal and meaningful. In Portuguese, it means “loyal customer,” but it also carries a sense of community and belonging—a reflection of my Brazilian roots and the connections I hope to build with every person who wears our pieces. For me, Freguesa isn’t just about creating accessories or clothing; it’s about crafting pieces that make you feel confident, stylish, and truly “put together,” no matter where life takes you.
Every piece we design is inspired by a love of timeless style, a playful sense of creativity, and a desire to celebrate the little things that bring joy—like the simple act of putting on a necklace or t-shirt that feels just right.
